Good to know

Everything travellers usually ask before they commit. Your own payment and cancellation terms are confirmed in your proposal before anything is booked.

    • A touring day covers up to 10 hours and 200 km (125 miles).

    • Additional distance: $1.50 per km, averaged across the tour.

    • Additional hours: $100 per hour.

    • Guide or driver overnight, when the itinerary requires it: $200 per night.

  • Per touring day, for your whole group. The vehicle category is what changes with group size, not a per-head price. The calculator divides the total by the number of travellers only so you can see what it works out to each.

  • Unless specified in your itinerary: meals, personal expenses, gratuities, and evenings out, such as driving to dinner.

  • The daily rate covers the guide, the vehicle where one is included, fuel, parking and insurance. The 5% Trip Management & Support fee covers everything arranged away from the road.

Hotels, entrance fees, attractions and experiences are quoted separately in your proposal, so you can see exactly what each part costs.

  • Yes. Hotels, entrance tickets, restaurants and experiences are sourced, booked and re-confirmed for you as part of Trip Management & Support. They are quoted separately from the touring rate, so you always see what each part costs.

  • Yes. Weather, energy and curiosity change the plan, and that is fine. Your guide reshapes the day as it goes, and the office stays reachable behind the scenes to move whatever needs moving.

  • If your journey cannot go ahead because of a security situation in Israel, you receive a full refund of what you have paid us for tour services.

If you would rather return another time, your deposit can instead be held toward a future trip, covering the planning work already carried out. That is your choice, not ours — we will never hold your deposit without your approval.

Refunds on hotels and other third-party services follow each supplier’s own terms. Your final terms are confirmed in your proposal before booking.

  • Payment

    • Payment methods: wire transfer, credit card, or cash.

    • Full payment for all tour services is due 30 days before arrival.

    Cancellation

    • More than 30 days before arrival: full refund, excluding the deposit.

    • 30–8 days before arrival: 50% refund, plus refunds for any services that can be cancelled, such as hotels and entrance fees.

    • 7 days or fewer before arrival: the full tour price is charged; refunds are provided only for services that can be cancelled.

Cancellation terms may vary according to the specific itinerary and supplier commitments. Your final payment and cancellation terms are clearly confirmed in your proposal before booking.

“We traveled with young children, which can make historical tours challenging, but Sagi was fantastic at connecting with them. He brought history to life through captivating stories.”

Alexa G · traveled with family · June 2026

“I have been to Israel many times and had numerous guides, but Sagi was, unquestionably, the best. He created a great itinerary including Tzipori, Magdala and Degania Alef.”

RobertPJacobs · Washington DC · July 2026

“Sagi didn’t just teach us more than we expected, he made the logistics of the Dead Sea effortless. What could have been a difficult travel day was made perfectly easy.”
