Prophets & Kingdoms of the Jezreel Valley
Travel north along Israel’s Mediterranean coast before entering the historic Jezreel Valley, one of the most important crossroads of the ancient world.
We will start the day at Caesarea National Park, exploring the magnificent Roman port city built by King Herod the Great and later used as the Roman capital of Judea. From there, we will continue to Mount Carmel and the Muhraka Monastery, the traditional setting connected with the prophet Elijah and the prophets of Baal in the Book of Kings. Next, we will descend toward the Jezreel Valley and visit Megiddo National Park, an ancient fortified city that controlled the valley’s crossroads and is known in the Book of Revelation as Armageddon. This first day connects the Mediterranean coast, prophetic tradition, and the strategic landscapes of biblical Israel.

✔ Caesarea National Park ✔ Mount Carmel (Muhraka) ✔ Megiddo National Park
Overnight: Sea of Galilee

Biblical Wonders of the Galilee
Today we explore the villages surrounding the Sea of Galilee, where many events of the New Testament took place and where Jewish communities flourished during the Roman period.
We will start the day at Korazim National Park, exploring the striking black basalt ruins of an ancient Jewish town mentioned in the New Testament and its beautifully preserved synagogue. Next, we will move on to Capernaum, the historic center of Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee, to walk through the archaeological remains of the ancient fishing village and its famed synagogue. From there, we will journey to Magdala, the town identified with Mary Magdalene, to view a remarkable first-century synagogue dating back to the time of Jesus. Finally, we will cap off the day with a peaceful Sea of Galilee Boat Experience, sailing across Israel’s most famous biblical lake and taking in the timeless landscapes that formed the backdrop to the Gospels.

From there, we will continue to Mount Gilboa, the mountain connected with the final battle of King Saul and his sons against the Philistines. Next, we will visit Beit Alpha Synagogue, where a beautifully preserved 6th-century mosaic floor reveals Jewish art, biblical symbolism, and the famous zodiac design. Finally, we will explore Beit She’an National Park, one of Israel’s most spectacular archaeological sites, where the biblical city of Beth-Shean later became a grand Roman city.
