Biblical Jaffa & Tel Aviv
Begin your journey in the ancient port city of Jaffa, one of the oldest cities in the world and a place deeply connected to biblical memory, early Christian tradition, and the Mediterranean story of the Holy Land.
We will start the day in Old Jaffa, walking through the historic lanes of the ancient port associated with the prophet Jonah and centuries of pilgrims, traders, and travelers. From there, we will visit St. Peter’s Church, connected to the apostle Peter and the biblical vision that helped open the message of Christianity to the Gentile world. We will continue to Jaffa Port, one of the oldest working harbors in the world, before crossing into modern Tel Aviv to experience the colors, flavors, and energy of Shuk HaCarmel. The day continues along the Tel Aviv Beach Promenade, where the Mediterranean coastline offers a relaxed contrast to the ancient sites of the morning. We will then visit Caesarea National Park, the impressive Roman city connected to early Christian history, including the story of Cornelius and the imprisonment of Paul before his journey to Rome.

Jerusalem Christian Holy Sites
Travel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, one of the most sacred cities in the Christian world and the setting for many of the central events of the New Testament.
We will begin on the Mount of Olives, taking in one of the most meaningful views over the Old City and the Temple Mount, a landscape tied to Christian tradition and the final days of Jesus. From there, we will descend to the Garden of Gethsemane, the peaceful garden remembered as the place where Jesus prayed before his arrest. We will continue into the Old City to visit the Pools of Bethesda, connected to the healing story described in the Gospel of John. The route then follows the Via Dolorosa through the narrow streets of Jerusalem, leading toward the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, traditionally revered as the place of the crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. Along the way, we will explore the Christian Quarter, continue to the Western Wall at the base of the Temple Mount, and finish with time in the Jerusalem Bazaar, where the atmosphere of the Old City comes alive through its markets, crafts, spices, and local traditions.

Day 3
David & Goliath Battlefield & Early Christian Sites
Today we explore the biblical landscapes of the Judean foothills, where stories from the Hebrew Bible and early Christian tradition are rooted in the valleys, hills, and ancient roads between Jerusalem and the coastal plain.
We will start at Tel Azekah, the archaeological mound overlooking the Valley of Elah, traditionally identified with the battlefield where David faced Goliath. From the summit, we will look across the valley and connect the landscape to the story described in the Book of Samuel. Next, we will stop at the Valley of Elah Viewpoint to better understand the geography of the battle and the movement of the Israelite and Philistine armies. From there, we will continue to Emmaus Nicopolis, associated with the Gospel of Luke and the story of Jesus appearing to two disciples after the resurrection on the Road to Emmaus. Depending on timing and interest, the day may also include Beit Guvrin National Park, a fascinating archaeological landscape of bell caves, underground complexes, and Roman-period remains before returning to Tel Aviv in the afternoon.
