Explore Old Jaffa, the ancient port city with winding stone alleys, art galleries, and historic views over the Mediterranean Sea. Continue to the Jaffa Flea Market, a lively area filled with antiques, cafés, street food, and local shops. Later, visit Carmel Market for a fun tasting experience through Tel Aviv’s famous food scene, then enjoy the Tel Aviv Beach Promenade with its relaxed coastal atmosphere.

Begin the day with a fun, hands-on science experience before traveling south into the Negev Desert. This day is designed to keep children engaged while gradually introducing the landscapes and stories of Israel’s desert region.
Visit the Clore Garden of Science in Rehovot, Israel’s first outdoor science museum, where interactive experiments allow children and adults to explore physics, light, sound, and energy through play. Continue south to Sde Boker and visit Ben-Gurion’s Grave, overlooking the dramatic Zin Valley. Walk along the Midreshet Ben-Gurion Promenade and learn about Israel’s desert research and David Ben-Gurion’s vision for the Negev before continuing to Mitzpe Ramon.

Ramon Crater Adventure
Today explores the incredible geological landscapes of Makhtesh Ramon, the largest erosion crater in the world and one of the most dramatic natural sites in Israel. This is a major adventure day, combining off-road travel, science, scenery, and hands-on discovery.
Descend into Ramon Crater on a jeep tour, traveling through desert landscapes, colorful rock formations, and wide-open views that help families experience the crater from the inside. Continue to the Ramon Visitor Center to learn about the formation of the crater and the story of Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon. Later, visit The Carpentry, also known as HaNagariya, where unusual sandstone formations resemble giant wooden beams.

Visit the Mitzpe Ramon Alpaca Farm, one of the most unique animal farms in Israel, where families can meet alpacas and llamas in a desert setting. Continue to Naot Goat Farm, a charming desert goat farm known for fresh goat cheese and local products. Later, enjoy a camel ride and experience the desert the way ancient traders once traveled across caravan routes.

Visit Avdat National Park, one of the most important Nabatean cities along the ancient spice trade route between Petra and the Mediterranean. Walk among the ruins and learn how desert communities built prosperous cities in a harsh environment. Continue to Ein Avdat Nature Reserve, a spectacular canyon oasis where natural springs flow between towering cliffs, creating one of the most beautiful short desert walks in Israel.
