Continue into the Golan Heights, a region known for volcanic soil, mountain scenery, vineyards, and important border history. Visit a Golan winery for a private tasting experience and learn how the region’s climate and elevation create some of Israel’s best wines. Walk through the lanes of Safed Old City, visit an ancient synagogue, and experience the spiritual atmosphere that has inspired Jewish learning, prayer, and creativity for centuries. Continue through the Artists’ Quarter, where galleries and workshops reflect the city’s unique character. Ascend Masada by cable car and explore the remains of King Herod’s desert fortress, including palaces, storehouses, fortifications, and sweeping views over the Dead Sea basin. The story of Masada remains a powerful symbol of Jewish resilience and identity.
