Ride the Mount Hermon Cable Car high into the mountains for spectacular views over northern Israel and neighboring countries. Continue to the Sea of Galilee, Israel’s largest freshwater lake, for a boat ride or water tubing activity depending on season, weather, and family preferences. Continue to Ein Avdat Nature Reserve, a desert canyon oasis with towering cliffs, springs, and wildlife such as ibex. Spend the day exploring Makhtesh Ramon, the world’s largest erosion crater and one of Israel’s most extraordinary natural landscapes. This is one of the main adventure days of the tour, combining off-road travel, geology, and hands-on desert discovery.
Descend into the crater on a jeep tour, traveling through dramatic desert scenery, colorful rock formations, and wide-open landscapes. Visit the Ramon Crater Visitor Center to learn about the crater’s geology and natural history.
